Officers' Responsibilities
The Grendelmen officers shall be constituted as follows:
The officers of the Grendelmen shall be one Clearinghouse, one Webmaster, one Publishing Advocate. Officers shall be appointed by nomination and majority approval/consent. Officers shall serve in good faith to the best of their ability, for an indeterminate length of time until they voluntarily, or are asked to, step down. Officers shall not receive payment for their services unless and until the majority of the Grendelmen agree that the time devoted to the group is sufficient to warrant compensation.

Clearinghouse: David
Clearinghouse officer shall receive all submissions to be read by the group and review them to see if they meet the standards of the group stated elsewhere in this charter. The clearinghouse officer shall have sole and final say over the acceptability of materials. Clearinghouse officer shall act as a central point for messages of interest to the whole group if needed and shall forward such messages in a timely manner.
Webmaster: RussThe Webmaster shall maintain the Grendelmen Website and update it on a regular basis, once a week being a preferred, but not compulsory, minimum. The Webmaster shall have final say on what is added to or shown on the Website, insofar as it does not infringe on the rights of the authors.
Publishing Advocate (PA): Position OpenThe PA shall give first consideration on his own reviews to any Grendelmen that has notified the PA of intention to publish at some time. The PA shall review other stories as time allows. The PA shall primarily research and provide to the Grendelmen information on markets for Grendelmen stories. The PA may provide general advice on writing to the Website as time allows. The PA shall provide specific information to publishing minded Grendelman in his reviews and general publishing information to the website.
